Meet the Henniker PD

Chief Matthew French

Chief of Police Matt French in uniformChief French has worked in law enforcement for over 31 years.  Except for a brief stint with the New Boston PD, all of that time has been in Henniker.  He became Chief of the Department in April, 2016.  He most enjoys the fact that every day on the job brings something different.  When he isn't working, he enjoys ATVing and working outside.

 

Lieutenant Michelle Dandeneau

Lieutenant Michelle Dandeneau in uniformLieutenant Dandeneau began her career in Law Enforcement in Pembroke, New Hampshire, in May 2002, and she joined the Henniker Police Department in August of 2003.  She was promoted to Detective Sergeant in 2015 and then to Lieutenant in 2021 while also receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Southern New Hampshire University in the same year.  

During her career, she has been involved in every type of criminal investigation and received specialized training in Domestic Violence, Sexual Assaults, Child Abuse and Basic Prosecution.  Michelle also specializes in Evidence Collection and Forensic Interviewing.  In her years of service with the Henniker Police Department, Lieutenant Dandeneau established some long-term relationships with the community that go beyond law enforcement and has been honored to perform the National Anthem on several occasions for Memorial Day.  Lieutenant Dandeneau has appreciated her long-time career with the town and the citizens of Henniker.

When the Lieutenant is not on duty, she enjoys playing the piano, reading, and spending time with her family and dogs.

Sergeant Matthew Mitchell

Mitchell decided at a very young age to become a Police Officer.  He has worked in law enforcement for 20 years, starting with eight years of service as an MP in the military.  He joined the Henniker Police Department in 2012 and was promoted to Sergeant in 2021.  While he is not sure what sparked his initial interest in law enforcement, he knows now that he enjoys being part of a team that provides services at a community-based level. Outside of work, he likes to pursue his interest in woodworking.

Officer Rachael Lacombe

Officer Rachael Lacombe in unform standing with the DARE MascotOfficer Lacombe has been in law enforcement for nine years.  She has been a Patrol Officer with Henniker PD since March, 2021.  Many of the community members will recognize Officer Lacombe from her work with the DARE program.  Her interest in law enforcement stems from her desire to help people.  She also likes having a job that is different and exciting every day.

When she isn't leading the DARE program or working her shift, Officer Lacombe enjoys spending time with her family, especially outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, snowboarding, hiking, and watching her kids' sports games.

Officer Cole Bannister

Officer Bannister in uniformOfficer Bannister has been a Patrolman with the Henniker PD for three years and has been in law enforcement for six years.  He has always had an interest in Law Enforcement.  He started in Corrections and then, with the help of friends and family in the field, moved on to becoming a Police Officer.

When he isn't working, Officer Bannister enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Officer Christian Kyle

Officer Christian Kyle in uniformOfficer Kyle has been in law enforcement for 2.5 years.  He has been a Patrolman with the Henniker PD for 1.5 years.  He grew up around Police Officers and has always wanted to help and protect people.  When he isn't working his shift, Officer Kyle enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

 

Officer Frankie Ramsdell

Officer Frankie Ramsdell in uniformOfficer Ramsdell is one of the newest members of the Henniker PD, graduating from the Police Academy in September, 2003.  He became interested in Law Enforcement when he was in middle school and heard of an opportunity to be part of his hometown's Law Enforcement Explorer Program.  Prior to this, Officer Ramsdell served 4 years as an active-duty Combat Engineer in the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in North Carolina. 

Outside of work, Officer Ramsdell enjoys riding motorcycles and spending time at the lake.

Officer Cameron Gebo

Officer Cameron Gebo in uniformOfficer Gebo is one of Henniker's newest officers.  He started at the PD on April 1, 2023 and graduated from the 193rd NH Police Academy in September 2023.  He got into this line of work because he liked the idea of helping people on their worst day.  When he isn't at work, Officer Gebo enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.

 

Officer Robert Buelte

Officer Rob Buelte in a suit coat and snazzy tieOfficer Buelte started his career as an EMT and a Firefighter, but there were not enough fires, so he started in law enforcement part time in 1994.  He went full-time in 1996 in Nottingham before moving to Concord PD where he worked 21 yeras.  in his spare time, he enjoys being involved with youth sporting events.  He also enjoys hunting and fishing.  Outside of work he likes to pursue his interest in woodworking.
