Building, Planning and Zoning

Welcome to Henniker Building, Planning and Zoning.  

All of our work is done through the authority of both State laws (known as RSAs) and locally adopted ordinances & regulations.  Some of the services we provide include:

• Permits for vendors, events, signs and raffles
• Building Permits for new construction and renovation projects as well as Electrical, Plumbing and Mechanical Permits
• Providing public access to the State Building Code guidebooks
• Guiding new or expanding businesses to come before the required boards for approval
• Enforcing town zoning regulations
• Proposing changes to town zoning regulations for citizens to vote on
