Attention Transfer Station Users!
This is a reminder to please recycle your glass bottles and jars.
Glass that ends up in the hopper goes in a landfill. Glass that gets recycled becomes new products like fiberglass insulation.
Glass that ends up in the hopper is shipped off at $110 a ton while glass that gets recycled is shipped off at $35 a ton.
