Week 3 - Award-Winning Country Band Performs in Henniker – June 27th
The town of Henniker is excited to bring this six-piece award-winning country band to the Angela Robinson Bandstand for their first Henniker performance. The list of awards The Shana Stack Band has won over the last few years range from Country Band of the Year and the Fans Choice Award by the Independent Country Music Association, to Wiles Magazine's World's Best Indie Artist to their awards for Country Act of the Year by the New England Music Awards and Country Artist of the Year by Limelight Magazine. They perform throughout New England at a variety of large venues including Turning Stone Casino in NY, Tupelo Music Hall, Bank of NH Pavilion, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Toby Keith's Bar & Grill, Dartmouth College, The Colonial Theater, The Showroom, Tunbridge World's Fair, the Big E and more.
They have opened on the Main Stage for such stars as Toby Keith (Bank of NH Pavilion), Craig Morgan (Delta Dental Stadium), Travis Tritt (New Hampshire Motor Speedway), and The Marshall Tucker Band (Northlands Live). They have performed on the Magic Hat Stage at Bank of NH Pavilion for the following national acts: Luke Bryan, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, Kane Brown, Reba McEntire, Sugarland, The Band Perry, Rascal Flatts, and Little Big Town.
The Henniker Summer Music Series is sponsored by the town of Henniker, along with tonight’s Sponsor, the Henniker Area Rotary Club, a community service organization of business and professional leaders whose objectives are to build goodwill, understanding and peace through providing humanitarian service while promoting ethical business and professional standards. The club motto is “Service Above Self” and its members practice this throughout the year in projects that improve our community and communities throughout the world.
All concerts are free (although donations are welcome), begin at 6:30 PM and take place at the Angela Robinson Bandstand at Community Park, Main Street. If there is inclement weather, concerts will move indoors to the adjacent Community Center. Bring a chair, spread a blanket, visit a local restaurant, have a picnic supper on the lawn or sample some of the fare provided by this week’s Food Truck vendor: Let’s Get Loaded, featuring loaded fries including Poutine, Buffalo Chicken, BBQ Pork Sundae, Chicken Bacon Ranch, and Chili Cheese. Join your neighbors and friends in this community-building event at our bandstand.
