Cogswell Spring Water Works
Cogswell Spring Water Works (CSWW) was established as the Water Department for the Town of Henniker in 1915. The Water System has over 550 service connections, including residences, schools, and businesses, along with 78 Fire Hydrants throughout town.
CSWW is committed to providing safe drinking water to all users on the system. Water quality is monitored every day at multiple locations on the system, in addition to the monthly, quarterly, and yearly testing for various contaminants as mandated by New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). A record of all tests performed on samples from the system can be viewed on the NH OneStop website (link to the left) by selecting ‘Public Water System’ and searching for Public Water System ID (PWSID) ‘1121010’.
The Board of Water Commissioners typically meet on the third Monday of each month at the CSWW Office at 146 Davison Rd, Henniker NH. Meetings typically start at 4:00pm. Please check the calendar to confirm upcoming meeting dates. Meetings are open to the public, and all are welcome to attend.
