Trustees of the Trust Funds

The Trustees of the Trust Funds invest and disburse funds in the Town's trusts and reserve accounts, and help manage several town properties. 

Many of the trusts are small, ranging in size from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars.  Other trusts and reserves support Town operations and capital projects. All of the monies in our custody are in an investment account with Citizen's Bank trust department.  Our Citizen's investment advisor assists us in managing the investment portfolio to maximize safety while providing for capital growth and current income.  It is important that the portfolio provide income to accomplish present-day trust and reserve purposes, while at the same time providing for sufficient growth of principal to ensure future income will be sufficient to continue to provide for accomplishing those purposes.
