Henniker Board of Selectmen Announce next Police Chief

Chairman of the Henniker Board of Selectmen Tom Watman, today announced the Board’s selection of Sgt. Ryan Murdough as the next Henniker Police Chief. Murdough will be sworn in, at the Selectmen’s meeting of June 2nd, to succeed Police Chief Timothy Russell who is retiring after serving for twenty years as the town’s chief.

“The Selectmen unanimously selected Sgt. Murdough to become only the town’s third full-time Chief of Police since the post was created in 1969. We also feel that the new Chief will be able to promote even stronger ties with all members of our community,” voiced Watman.
