2009 Tax Rate-Town of Henniker, N. H.
The Henniker Board of Selectmen hereby announces the tax rate for the year 2009.
The Town Municipal Portion of the new rate is $6.84, which is a decrease of 0.02 cents from 2008.
This figure represents a number that was projected as a result of the 2009 town meeting.
The County portion is $2.49, which is also a decrease, that being a reduction of 0.14 cents from the year 2008.
The local School Tax rate is $15.64, an increase of 0.35 cents.
The State Education tax rate portion is $2.31. which represents a decrease of 0.07 cents.
The 2009 total tax rate will be $27.28 per thousand, which represents a total increase of 0.12 cents or 0.04%.
