History of HFD

The Henniker Fire Department was incorporated in 1899 as the General Taylor Engine Company.

The Henniker Rescue Squad was started in 1969.

Both departments currently serve a community of over 5000 residents and cover an area of 44.1 square miles.

Henniker Fire and Rescue are proud to provide 24 hour fire and EMS coverage.
