Falls Prevention Program for Older Adult

Fridays, March 30 - May 18, 2012

Pre-registration Required

 

Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association is offering a falls prevention program in Henniker to help older adults reduce their fear of falling and improve their activity levels. “A Matter of Balance” is an evidence-based, eight-week program offered by many healthcare organizations nationwide and has proven positive results.

 

This program benefits older adults who:

  • Are concerned about falls

  • Have suffered a fall in the past

  • Restrict activities because of concerns about falling

  • Are interested in improving flexibility, balance, and strength

  • Are 60 or older, active, and able to problem solve

 

We are currently holding the program on:

Fridays

March 30, 2012 - May 18, 2012

10 a.m. - Noon

Henniker Community Center
