Henniker Conservation Commission Request for Bids on Land Surveying

The Henniker Conservation Commission seeks a Surveyor licensed in New Hampshire to survey 4 town owned lots. 

Background:

The town of Henniker has voted to place 4 town-owned lots into conservation easements; three to be held by 5Rivers Land Trust and 1 to be held by the Piscataquog Land Conservancy.  No known surveys exist for any of these lots. 

Requirements:

·         Boundary line survey and flagging – no internal features

·         Set pins as needed

·         Mylars, and paper copies for registry

·         Written description for inclusion in the deed and easement

Location:

Three of the lots, lots 47, 48 and 50, totaling about 75 acres, have frontage on Warner Road, a Class V road.  The 4^th lot, lot 86, is 97 acres and has frontage on Colby Hill Road, a class VI road.  Tax maps can be viewed at www.henniker.org. - GIS.

Timeline:

All survey work, boundary marking and final plans must be completed by June 30, 2012.

Submission:

Submissions must include:

·         Budget including Hours and hourly rate

·         Credentials and contact information including an email address

·         Proof of insurance

·         Timeline for completing work

All bids must be in hand at the Henniker Town Hall no later than 4pm Wednesday, April 4^, 2012.

Please submit bids in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside “Conservation Commission Surveying Bid.”  Bids may be brought to the Henniker Town Hall during business hours or mailed to: Henniker Conservation Commission, 18 Depot Hill Road, Henniker, NH 03242. 

The Henniker Conservation Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids when in the best interest of the town. 

Bids will be opened at the Meeting of the Henniker Conservation Commission April 4^th at 7:00 p.m. in the Henniker Grange Hall.  All bidders will be notified of the results of the meeting by email on April 5, 2012.
