2011 Tax Rate - Town of Henniker, N. H.

The Henniker Board of Selectmen hereby announces the tax rate for the year 2011.

The Town Municipal Portion of the tax rate is $7.24, which is a decrease of 0.16 cents from 2010.

This figure represents a number that was projected as a result of the 2011 town meeting. The sale of Lot 98 was completed in 2011.

The County portion is $2.91, which is an increase of 0.02 cents from the year 2010.

The local School Tax rate is $17.31 which is a net increase of 0.18 cents from 2010. The local school tax rate is comprised of the Henniker Community School tax rate of 10.34 which saw a 0.28 cent increase from 2010 and the John Stark High School portion which saw a decrease of 0.10 cents from 2010. These rates then net to a 0.18 cent overall increase to the local School tax rate.

The State Education tax rate portion is $2.54 which represents a increase of 0.15 cents from 2010.

The 2011 total tax rate will be $30.00 per thousand, which represents a net total increase of 0.18 cents.
