Cleaning Services for Town Buildings
Town of Henniker seeks bids for cleaning services at the Police Station, Town Hall, Grange, Fire Station, Teen Center and Community Center. Bid shall be awarded based on a two-year contract. Bids due at Selectmen’s Office no later that 3:00 PM on Thursday, December 9, 2010.

Specs
The Town of Henniker is seeking cleaning services for following town buildings: Town Hall, Grange Building, Teen Center, Community Center, Fire Station and Police Station.
Frequency of Service: Monday-Wednesday-Friday (Police Station) Friday evenings through Sunday all other buildings flexible.
Sweep and damp mop all the tile floors.
Vacuum all the rugs.
Walls, chair rails, windowsills, baseboards and other items such as equipment and furniture are to be dusted regularly and cleaned accordingly.
Sweep floor in the garages (police station).
Empty all trash.
Dust blinds in all windows at town hall.
Clean all toilets and sinks.
Clean the main service window and windows on the entrance door (police station), all service counters for all town hall departments.
Wash windows twice a year inside and outside and clean windows regularly on swinging doors in entrance to town hall, and grange front door. Wash windows inside and outside at Fire Station and Police Station at least once a year.
Replenish all paper goods (paper towels, toilet paper etc.) All paper goods supplied by the town.
Must provide your own cleaning materials-window spray, cleaning materials, and vacuum cleaner etc.
Twice a year-strip and wash police station floors and shampoo rugs in police station only. Once a year, strip and wax Teen Center floor.
Twice weekly-high speed (recommend 1500 RPM machine) buffing of police station floors
Background checks to be processed by the Police Department. Vendor will be provided with keys to all buildings.
Quotes must be based on services for a two-year contract.
References required.
All quotes must be based on an annual cost estimate for the above listed requirements.
It is recommended that potential vendor visit all sites with the Town Administrator before submitting quote.
Submission of bid shall be no later than Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 3:00 pm, at which time bids will be opened. Bids must be sealed and notation on envelope should read:
