On April 16, 2008 the Conservation Commission voted unanimously to approve the formation of the Water Resources Subcommittee.

Water Resources Management Committee Charter:

• A Sub-committee of the Henniker Conservation Commission
• The purpose of the Water Resources Management Sub-committee is to study and make recommendations for the protection of the Henniker’s Water Resources.

Activities will include:

• Updating the 1989 Water Resource Management and Protection Plan and expand where appropriate.
• Working towards an aquifer/groundwater protection ordinance with consideration of the 1989 plan’s recommendations.
