Hours Who is Eligible? How can I donate?
CHANGE IN DAYS: The Henniker Food Pantry is changing the night it gives out supplemental food from Wednesdays to Thursdays, 6 to 7 PM. Please pick up a schedule at the pantry or check on the bulletin board outside the pantry door for the posted calendar. Call Holly Preble at 428-6015 or Denise Getts at 428-7554 with any questions.
DONATIONS NOW BEING ACCEPTED AT THE LIBRARY: The Tucker Free Library and the Henniker Food Pantry have teamed up! The Tucker Free Library is providing a drop off location for food donations. Anyone interested in donating non-perishable food to the pantry can do so during regular operating hours.
The Henniker Food Pantry distributes food to those in need living in Henniker.
The Henniker Food Pantry, in an effort to better serve the needs of our community, is now open for additional hours to distribute supplemental food.

The food pantry is located at 21 Western Ave. in the back of the Grange building, which is to the left of the Tucker Free Library. There is plenty of parking in the back.
To determine if you are eligible please read the following.
Are you or any member or your household currently eligible for and/or receiving help from any of the following programs?
Fuel Assistance
Food Stamps
Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
Medicaid (State Welfare)
Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)
Aid to the Needy Blind
Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF)
Old Age Assistance
Aid to Permanently and Totally Disabled (APTD)
Subsidized Housing
Head Start
County, City or Town Welfare
AND/OR
Is your combined Gross Yearly Household Income at or below the following guidelines?
1 person - $20,036 3 people - $33,874 5 people - $47,712 7 people - $61,550
2 people - $26,955 4 people - $40,793 6 people - $54,631 8 people - $68,469
If either of these apply then you are allowed to receive food from the Henniker Food Pantry. Proof of residency is needed as well.
Proof of residency would be:
Car registration (driver’s licenses are not valid)
Utility bill, most recent (phone, water, gas, electric, trash or sewer, etc.)
Bank statement, most recent
Government check, most recent
Pay check, most recent
Property tax receipt, most recent
Housing rental contract of current residence
Mortgage documents of current residence
If you have any questions call Holly Preble at 428-6015 or Denise Getts at 428-7554. The food pantry is located at 21 Western Ave. in the back of the Grange building, which is to the left of the Tucker Free Library. There is plenty of parking in the back. The Pantry is run by volunteers from Henniker.
DONATIONS: If anyone would like to donate food, the Henniker Congregational Church and St. Theresa’s Catholic Church collect food on Sundays. Call Holly or Denise for drop off at the pantry.
