The Henniker Food Pantry distributes food to those in need living in Henniker. The Henniker Food Pantry, in an effort to better serve the needs of our community, is now open for additional hours to distribute supplemental food.

If you have any questions call Denise Getts at (603) 428-7554. The food pantry is located at 21 Western Ave. in the back of the Grange building, which is to the left of the Tucker Free Library. There is plenty of parking in the back. The Pantry is run by volunteers from Henniker.

 

HOURS & DATES

 

 

DONATIONS The Tucker Free Library is now accepting food donations for the pantry. Please bring items to the Tucker Free Library on Western Ave. during regular working hours or call Denise Getts at (603) 494-9675.

LIBRARY HOURS:

Tuesdays 10am-8pm

Wednesdays 10am-8pm

Thursdays 10am-5pm

Fridays 10am-5pm

Saturdays 10am-1pm

In addition, the Henniker Congregational Church and St. Theresa’s Catholic Church collect food on Sundays.

Are you or any member or your household currently eligible for and/or receiving help from any of the following programs?

  • Fuel Assistance

  • Food Stamps

  • Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

  • Medicaid (State Welfare)

  • Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)

  • Aid to the Needy Blind

  • Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF)

  • Old Age Assistance

  • Aid to Permanently and Totally Disabled (APTD)

  • Subsidized Housing

  • Head Start

  • County, City or Town Welfare

AND/OR is your combined Gross (before taxes) Yearly Household Income at or below the following guidelines?

1 person - $20,036

2 people - $26,955

3 people - $33,874

4 people - $40,793

5 people - $47,712

6 people - $54,631

7 people - $61,550

8 people - $68,469

If either of these apply then you are allowed to receive food from the Henniker Food Pantry. Proof of Henniker residency is needed as well. Proof of residency would be:

  • Car registration (driver’s licenses are not valid)

  • Utility bill, most recent (phone, water, gas, electric, trash or sewer, etc.)

  • Bank statement, most recent

  • Government check, most recent

  • Pay check, most recent

  • Property tax receipt, most recent

  • Housing rental contract of current residence

  • Mortgage documents of current residence
